We should learn to let go because if you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you, it’s yours forever but if it doesn’t then, it was never meant to be. Set it free.
There will be time, time for you and time for me, and time yet for a hundred indecisions, and for a hundred visions and revisions.
Past is past and my future has a name and I am going to embrace my future of happiness and let the past be just that.
Letting go does not always mean letting them leave you. Letting go can also mean being with them, caring for them, but not allowing them to drain you, hurt you or not give you the ability to live your own life.
After being walked all over, taken advantage of, talked down to. Then waking up and standing up for myself (much to this friends disgust) it’s still hard to dump that friendship.
